Wanda Melendez is the heart behind IT WITH A PURPOSE. A military vet, wife, mother, and grandmother she started her firm with the hopes of providing opportunity and growth to minority communities through IT.

She began her career in recruiting after leaving the military, loving the fact that the industry was one of a few, that benefited all entities involved. She has since worked with some of the top IT firms in the country diversifying their workforce.

Having worked in IT for well over 10 years Wanda has developed an eye for talent and made strong connections in the industry. Yet the lack of diversity within IT and has always frustrated her. Opening the doors of ITWP has provided her an opportunity to break down barriers for minorities, assist firms in diverse recruitment, and educate underserved communities on the opportunities to be had within the IT sector.

Dedicated to improving the lives of others ITWP and is determined to fill the gaps in minority education and qualification through comprehensive programming and strategic partnerships with community leaders to influence the next generation of technical leaders.

ITWP provides comprehensive Technical Consulting, Network Cabling, and Infrastructure, and Staff Augmentation within the federal and public utilities space helping to increase its diversity footprint within underserved communities and creating partnerships that matter with firms who care.
